Cheryl Bedenbaugh has loved editing since she first experienced it while serving on her high school newspaper. With a career in editing books, newspapers, non-profit publications, and corporate communications, Cheryl has worked with numerous writers throughout her profession. While in college, Cheryl was a correspondent for the Baton Rouge Advocate newspaper, as well as managing editor of UL's student newspaper. She went on to serve as director of communications for the Lafayette Catholic Service Centers, then as the editor of an investigative reporting team at The Daily Advertiser. Her work at the newspaper launched her into a career as a communications specialist at Thomson Reuters, where she led, designed, edited, and wrote for numerous communication projects. Cheryl is a currently a contract editor working on children's books for Ally-Gator BookBites and Great American Child, as well as a pharmacy technician book for Zip Review in Houston and a series of books for sports management classes at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette. In addition to her career in editing, Cheryl has written for many publications, including America's Most Wanted magazine, Acadiana Profile, The Daily Advertiser, and The Advocate. Cheryl has a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from UL and a Master of Science degree in sociology from LSU.
